Tobacco Use and its Consequences in Bangladesh
This policy brief was produced by BRAC Institute of Governance and Development, BRAC University (BIGD), in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and is based on a research paper examining tobacco use and its consequences in Bangladesh. The brief discusses adult and youth tobacco use based on data from GATS, the socioeconomic dimensions of tobacco use, health and economic consequences, reasons for initiation of tobacco consumption, and recommendations.
