Global Overview of the Effectiveness of Health Taxes (Presentation)
This presentation was given by Frank Chaloupka at the "Health Taxes to Help Attain the SDGs" session of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund Annual Meetings on October 10th, 2018, in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia. During the presentation, the effect of tobacco, alcohol and sugar-sweetened beverage taxes on consumption, the effect of reduced consumption on non-communicable diseases, and oppositional arguments were discussed.
