Angola scores poorly in cigarette price, affordability change, tax share, and tax structure. It would greatly benefit from higher cigarette prices, reducing the cigarette affordability, increasing the tax share of price, and improving the tax structure.
Scores Over Time
Angola's over all scores increased in 2020, but decreased in 2022. The reduction was mainly caused by the reductions in cigarette price score and in affordability change score. The tax structure score remains the same as 2020.
