Saw Min Thu Oo is a research analyst on the Tobacconomics team. Before his current position, he worked as Monitoring and Evaluation Manager for healthcare programs at Access to Health Fund, UNOPS in Yangon, Myanmar.

He completed his Bachelor degree in Medicine at University of Medicine 2, Yangon, his MPH at Umeå University, Sweden, and his MS in Biostatistics (Health Analytics) from the University of Illinois Chicago.

Tobacconomics is directed by Jeffrey Drope, PhD. It was founded by Frank Chaloupka, PhD, at the Institute for Health Research and Policy at the University of Illinois Chicago.
