Dragan Gligorić, Ph.D.

Dr. Dragan Gligoric is an associate professor at the University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Economics. He graduated in 2006 from the same faculty, where he later earned his master's degree in 2011 and his doctorate in 2016. Employed at the Faculty of Economics since 2007, he specializes in international economics, teaching related subjects.
In addition to his teaching role, Dr. Gligoric served as Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs from 2020 to 2022. Currently, he holds the position of Vice-Dean for Scientific Research and heads the Department for International Economic Relations. He is also the editor-in-chief of Acta Economica journal and a member of the Serbian Scientific Society of Economists (NDES).
Involvement in numerous international research projects has centered on enhancing the quality of education, conducting market research, and supporting the development of small and medium enterprises. Currently, his research primarily focuses on the economic effects of tobacco consumption and tobacco taxation.
Beyond academia, Dr. Gligoric has been a member of the supervisory board of NLB Bank Banja Luka since 2021 and chairs its Risk Committee.
