Alejandra Macías, Ph.D.

Dr. Alejandra Macías has experience in program evaluation, impact evaluation, follow-up and monitoring, mainly. Alejandra has worked in the Oportunidades Program and in the Ministry of Public Administration. She has also carried out consulting work for the World Bank and the International Fund for Agricultural Development of the United Nations. She worked as a Researcher at the Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). Currently, she is Chief Economist in CIEP and develops research on public finances: taxes and expenditures.
Alejandra completed a Ph.D. in public policy at the Instituto Tecnológico y Estudios superiores de Monterrey (ITESM).
