This presentation given at the 2013 Global Tobacco Control Leadership Program at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, MD, provides an overview for the economic cost of tobacco use, the correlation between tobacco use and poverty, the myths and facts on the economics costs of tobacco control, and the cost-effectiveness of tobacco control.
