Health Taxes: A Global Overview of the Evidence
This presentation was given by Frank Chaloupka at the “Sin Tax Policy Reform” session at the World Bank and International Monetary Fund Annual Meetings on October 12, 2018, in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia. During the presentation, the impact of tobacco, alcohol, and sugar-sweetened beverage taxes on use, consequences of use, and myths and facts about the economic impact of taxes were discussed.
