Tobacco Taxes in Argentina: Toward a Comprehensive Cost-Benefit Analysis

This Report was produced by the Centro de Estudios Distributivos, Laborales y Sociales (CEDLAS) in Argentina. The Report examines the tobacco taxes and price increases in Argentina and the effects it would have on income distribution as well as cigarette consumption. The Report concludes that higher taxes and prices on tobacco products would have positive effects on income distribution, health, and lower tobacco consumption in Argentina.
