Armenia scores well in tax structure but scores poorly in cigarette price, affordability change, and tax share. It would greatly benefit from higher cigarette prices, reducing the cigarette affordability, and increasing the tax share of price.
Scores Over Time
Armenia's overall score increased between 2014 and 2022. The increase in 2022 was mainly driven by increasing the tax share of price. Other component scores in 2022 stayed the same as 2020.
